Psilocybin and Psychedelic Somatic Integration

Psilocybin and psychedelic experiences keep unfolding long after the journey ends. Integration is where they land in your actual life.

This might be your door if

  • You had an experience that showed you something real, and you can’t quite bring it back into ordinary life.
  • Insight came, and the changes you expected to follow didn’t.
  • Something surfaced that you weren’t ready for, and it’s still with you.
  • The experience was powerful, challenging or confusing, and you’re not sure how to understand what happened.
  • Intense emotions, memories, sensations or insights are still affecting you.
  • You feel unsettled, overwhelmed or disconnected since the experience.
  • It brought up old wounds, grief, fears or relationship patterns you’d like to explore safely.
  • It was profound, spiritual or mystical, and you want a space to explore what it meant without being judged.
  • You feel it opened something important, and you don’t know how to move forward with it.

What actually happens

We give the experience room to be spoken about properly, without you having to translate it into language that makes it sound reasonable.

Then we work with what your body is still carrying from it. Integration is largely somatic: the insight tends to land when the nervous system catches up with it.

And we look at what it’s asking of your actual life — what it would mean to act on it, and what gets in the way of that.

This isn’t about interpreting your experience for you or telling you what it meant. The experience may have ended, but integration is where the real work can begin.

What this isn’t

I don’t provide, supply, administer or sit for psilocybin or psychedelic experiences, and I don’t advise on obtaining them. This is integration work only: before and after, never during.

And it isn’t about turning an extraordinary experience into an extraordinary story. It’s about what it changes in how you live.

Common questions

Do you offer, supply or sit for psychedelic experiences?
No. I don’t provide, supply, facilitate or sit for journeys, and I can’t advise you on obtaining substances. This work is preparation and integration: a space to accompany you before or after.
Can I talk about my journey without being judged?
Yes. My role isn’t to moralise about the choices you made, but to offer a space to explore them. What you tell me is confidential, within the same legal and professional limits that apply to all therapy — which I’ll explain plainly when we meet.
What if my experience was frightening rather than uplifting?
That’s one of the most common reasons people look for integration. A difficult experience isn’t a failure and doesn’t mean something went wrong. It needs room and care rather than being pushed aside. That said, if you feel unsafe, can’t manage day to day, or something is getting worse rather than settling, that needs care sooner rather than later — and I’ll help you find it, including urgent or medical support if that’s what it calls for.
How soon after a journey should I reach out?
There’s no deadline. Some people come within days; for others the insights, memories or difficult emotions surface months or years later. Both are valid starting points.

Before we start, one important thing

This therapy is not a substitute for crisis or safety intervention. It isn't appropriate if you are currently in an unsafe or dangerous situation, or if you are at immediate risk of harming yourself or ending your life. In those circumstances you need crisis, emergency or specialised support first.

Somatic psychotherapy is also unsuitable for people who have recently faced, or are currently facing, legal allegations.
